When presets are useful

Use presets when you know the goal is opening the ranked gate but the three-hero pool is still vague.
Use them when you do not want to hand-pick the first round of candidates from all 42 heroes.
Use them when you want a usable starting point first and personalized edits later.

When not to force a preset

If one hero in the template is a hero you truly do not want to learn, do not force it just to keep the preset intact.
If you already have a reliable main hero, use presets more as support slots than as a full replacement.
If later environment updates clearly move one hero’s priority, follow the latest patch and hero-page reads first.
